Multiple datasources in 1 band in QuickReport

I've seen questions here relating to multiple columns in a Quick Report, but I need to place the values of various different tables in a detail band of my report.

Each band has Monday to Friday in it, with each "database text" field containing a certain value relating to a certain day of the week. This has to go ACROSS the screen in a band, like:

Monday | Tuesday | Wednesday | Thursday | Friday

value  | value   | value     | value    | value
from   | from    | from      |  from    | from
table  | table   | table     | table    | table

Hi jsweby,

What about this :

1) Make a new table or query which joins these 5 tables and use this for your qreport band.

2) Use Before print, and put the values of the records of the different tables in there respective text fields (on the qr-form)

I think 1st one is the easiest and the best.

Thanks for the reply - we came up with the same answer as you earlier (number 1, building another table to link the other 5),
but I'll give you the points for coming up with it anyway!
