Hello,

I need to program a BBS application to be incorporated by my project (a VC++ program).  It needs to dial a local or long distance number and connect to a BBS line.  It needs to use ANSI.  The most important is that it needs to upload files with file transfer protocols like ZModem or XModem or Ymodem or etc..

Can anyone help me on this?  How would I go about starting it?  Are there any good books on this?

thanks
david

1) Buy books
2) Read them
3) Learn to program
4) Write a specification that reminds you of what features you want your BBS program to have.
5) Write it.
6) Test it.
7) Debug it.
8) Release it.
9) Goto step 5.
