recording cd rom

I heard that you can buy recording cd rom, and store data on
them. Can you give an idea about these Cd rom, how many Meg
they can hold, and how much they cost?

They hold the same amount as a regular cd, 640 meg +/-. They are not perfect, in that if a recording session goes bad, you almost have the discard the disc and try again.  Also you want a software program which allows you to end a recording session and then start a new one where the previous one ended.  The cost varies depending on where you live.  In the U.S.A. they start about $400 (US).
