Does anyone know of a program (maybe shareware) which will allow me to edit .avi movie files? I want to delete frames and then save the edited version.

I haven't come across a shareware program to edit avi's but there is a very good and fairly inexpensive program from the Asymetrix Corporation. It is called Digital Video Producer and generally runs for about $150.00. It has a full complement of tools and features just like Adobe Premier for editing, transitions, composing etc., and is hundreds of dollars less. It's pretty staightforward to use too. Good Luck.

Thanks. But it would have been nice to let me know where I could
find this program, and if there is a trial version. Also, there
are quite a few shareware programs around...I've found and tried
several myself.

at: You found some shareware-tools to edit avi's? I have some avi's which I want to glue together. Have you found a tool which is able to merge avi's?
