can someone show me step by step how to
setup quota in linux
start from re-compile the kernal to the end part

Login as root
Go to /usr/src/linux
make config
answer all questions and also answer yes on quota support
make dep ; make clean
make zlilo
reboot
Install quota package
start quota with quotaon
Also put in quotaon in your bootscripts so its started at boottime
quota for users are edited by edquota username
QUota are divided into parts... amount of blocks (maximum size) and inodes (maximum number of files)

                           Login as root
                           Go to /usr/src/linux
                           make config
                           answer all questions and also answer yes on quota support
                           make dep ; make clean
                           make zlilo
                           reboot
