<A HREF> without underscore results?

At tucows and MS, they use links without underscore.  i like
that.  it uses different color, active color, and visit color.  it is exactly like a link, but with out an underscore.  how can i achieve these results?

Add the following to your <head> section:

<style type="text/css">
 A:link {color:red; text-decoration: none}
 A:visited {color:purple; text-decoration: none}
</style>

Oh, and you still set the "active" link color in the <body> tag.
