This question may not be appropriate to this group. I'll ask anyway.

What are the pros and cons of Installshield? Is there any other installation software out there? Please name a few.

I use installshield from BC++ package, it pretty good and free.
You can install it seperately from your BC++5.x . You can specify
default directories for the group of your install files. Attch
images and text. Nothing special with Borland products, you can use it anyway. I found many Windows application's install are
using InstallShield. The bad thing is that installshield is only
32 bit version, so can not be used in 16 bit windows

There are many shareware on the net, most are free download
for evaluation period, although you can use them, but really
has problem when your package is distributed, cause it is
for evaluation only if you did not pay for it.

good luck
