Could you tell me where I can get the free or shockware for the windows socket (winsock 2.0 is better for me) for VB 4.0? (that is mswinsock.ocx)(Could you tell me what address?) (because I must use winsock 2 to have an ATM client-server connection)
thank you

Yes, Socket Wrench is great for 16 or 32 bit.  I've used it quite a bit.  The bonus: this makes your code portable between the two.

Sorry, But I cannot add this socket function to my interface in 32-bit VB4 because of the licence problem. Could you give the version that I can try it in my design? I am just a student and cannot afford the price of the licence. Do you ever try to send data from server to client by stream socket from using this VBX socket?
Thank you very much

What Is Threat Intelligence?

Threat intelligence is often discussed, but rarely understood. Starting with a precise definition, along with clear business goals, is essential.

I've used it quite a lot; now I'm running VB5 and I'm now using Microsoft's Winsock control.  What you need is FREE.  Go to the site:

... and click on the following hyperlink:

SocketWrench eases TCP/IP development... and it's FREE!

NO, Socket Tools Lite is NOT what you want.  As I said before...

http://www.catalyst.com/

... and click on the following hyperlink:

SocketWrench eases TCP/IP development... and it's FREE!

The above hyperlink is on catalyst's home page VERBATIM

That's "SocketWrench"  - NOT "Socket Tools Lite!"

SocketWrench only provides the 16 bit of VB4.0. Am I call back some libraries of old version of VB in order to use this package function?
Thank you

NO, it works perfectly in VB32.   USE IT, it works!  I've got several apps I've converted to VB5 that use the control.
