Finding a DLL file on the internet

My daughter has a ATT Data port express v.34 {28.8} modem.
She is missing " vrm.dll ". Where can I go to download
the file for her?

Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

We have one of those modems, I checked the system for VRM.DLL and there isn't one.

What were you installing when it asked for that?
If just running a communcations program or AOL or something then reinstall it.

If just installing that modem, typically all you need is a .INF file.

I just tracked down the pages for official  DataPort
modems support... was tricky since AT&T isn't actually supporting it...

Any info/files you need will be there...

My daughter lost power to her computer. When the power came back on she couldn't get back into windows. When she hit ALT-CRL-DEL
she was only running explorer. Systray was not running.I told her to reinstall win95. Now she gets no sound. A error message comes up saying she is missing "vrm.dll". I thought she had a modem-sound card. I guess she doesn't. The site you gave me didn't have the dll file.

She'll have to reinstall her sound card stuff then...
You don't need that .DLL for the modem...
We don't have that VRM.DLL at all.... and it works fine.
IT's gotta be something else... she did reinstall Win95?
And what is she doing exactly when she gets that error?
