The icons on the Win 95 desktop are shortcuts, and you cannot create a shortcut with Delphi 1. &nbsp;What I have seen some people do is ship a 2nd exe with their setup program which is written in Delphi 2 or 3. &nbsp;The Delphi 1 exe calls the 2nd exe to create the shortcut if running on a Win 95 machine. &nbsp;Thus the purpose of the 2nd exe is purely to create the icon on the desktop.<br />

I can give you code for Delphi 2/3 to create a shortcut on a desktop if you decide to use this kind of approach.<br />
