Hi there !!!
Oh yes I have read and read and read..... (man, Howto´s etc...)
I´ve spent a week (not kidding!) trying to configure my HP 660C to print
with linux...

I´ve tried everything (even magicfilter)
So, here is my problem:
My printer does NOT work with text, nor does it work with PostScript....
Well, actually one of the postcript files that come with Slakware 96 does
work: colorcir.ps....
Why does just that file work ????
P.S. can´t setup my X-win either.... I just can´t get the mode section to
work...

Here is my Printcap:
#HPDeskJet 660C
lp|hpdj:\
            :lp=/dev/lp1:\
            :sd=/var/spool/lpd/hpDeskJet:\
            :mx#0:\
            :if=/var/spool/lpd/hpDeskJet/input_filter:\
            :lf=/var/spool/lpd/hpDeskJet/errs:\
            :sh:

--------------------------
filter:

#!/bin/sh
/usr/bin/gs -dSAFER -dNOPAUSE -s PAPERSIZE=a4 \
        -sDEVICE=cdj550 -dBitsPerPixel=32 -dShingling=1 -dDepletion=1 \
        -sOutputFile=- -q -

So, how come only that .ps file works ??
How can I get magicfilter to work ??
Can ANYBODY please help me !?!

Thank you in advance... I will appreciate it a lot !
