I currently have a localtalk network set up with 2 computers hooked together with serial cables.  I would like to produce AppleTalk zones for these for organization purposes.  How would I go about doing this?

You could use Apple's AppleTalk Internet Router.  It will allow you to set up zones.  However, as it is commercial software, you might not want to set up zones if there are just two machines on your network.  There are a few other similar pieces of software such as ARNS, which simply don't work.

Unfortunately, there is no little utility "Mac Zone Namer" yet...

Maybe somewone will write one, but don't keep your hopes up.

I hope this answers your questions...
