I need a sample configuration file for running apache with virtual web servers. I have looked at httpd.conf but I need more info than this gives. This is urgent and a quick response would be appreciated (hence the high points)!!

The best way I have found to do this is to use a conf file such as the following:

<VirtualHost xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx>
ServerAdmin webmaster@foobar.com
DocumentRoot /path/to/doc/root/dir
ServerName www.foobar.comErrorLog logs/unicorntech-error_log
TransferLog logs/foobar-access_log
</VirtualHost>

You will also need to add a LISTEN xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx directive to the conf file to enable this IP address.

Hope this helps,
