Panasonic KX=P4401and NT 4.0/Win '95

I have a Panasonic KX-P4401 that woeks fine under NT 4.0 WS, but not in Windows '95.  It used to work fine under both.  Now, in Win '95, it spits out a line or two of garbage and then endless blank pages.  I have re-installed the drivers with no luck.  I have a dual-boot system (FAT16 on the Win '95 side and NTFS on the NT side).

Re-installing the printer will not solve the problem, what I suggest is the following: (Uninstall then Reinstall)

1) Start > Settings > Printers
2) Select the Panasonic printer and then select delete
3) When prompt to delete all the files answer YES
4) Now Insert again your Disk with the proper drivers.
5) Install the printer.

If you still experience the same problem.

1) Start > Settings > Printers
2) Add a new Printer
3) Select The HP II
4) Let it install the drivers.

I'm not sure I tried it by uninstalling first, but I'll try it and let you know the results.

Tried both your suggestions:

1.  Completely removed the Panasonic and re-installed it with the same result one line of garbled print, then endless pages, some blank, some with one or two characters.

2.  Completely uninstaled the Panasonic again and tried installing it as a HP LJII.  Same result.

I'm totally baffled by this.  It continues to work perfectly in NT 4.0.

I'm baffled too here, it does not make sence!!!
I'll investigate more with my people here, to see if I can come up with new suggestions for you.

Just by curiosity, did you install any shareware or software lately before you had that problem??

No.  In fact I had it running briefly a month or two ago, but then it stopped working again.  I can't connect it with any particular event or program.
