I have an Epson Stylus Color ESC P2, I installed the drivers for this printer, they come with NT.
The problem is that it prints very very slow, maybe 5 minutes to print the test page.
What is wrong with it?.

The problem is that the parallel port driver of NT uses polling instead of interrupts.
The polling runs away with all the cpy time and makes the printing slow.

Go to the microsoft support site. There you will find a registry key that will lower the priority of the parallel port driver.
Your epson will print much faster.
