Dial up network

I am using a scripter progam and my Password has to be entered eachh time I connect although Icheck the box "save password".
Each time I log off and try to reconnect the box is unchecked and my password is gone.
I have Client for Microsoft Network installed.
The system was working until I removed some dll files with cleansweep and had to reconfigure the Dial up program. My server help desk feels I am lucky to have got the scripter working again.

If this is Win95 we are talking about, you need to download the patch for Windows 95.

The URL is either http://www.microsoft.com/windows95/info/dialup.htm
or if that doesn't work, try Win95 Service Pack 1 at

I reinstalled Service Pack 1 and the password is now being kept.
