How to see Chinese in Internet Explorer 4.0

I went to Internet Explorer 4.0 Product Updates and already installed Chinese language successfully. But I still cannot see Chinese in a website with Chinese character.
(The same problem may also be occurred for other language other than English)

ok, when you load a page using chinese characters, go to the "View" menu, and then select "fonts". under this there should be a check next to western alphabet or something. switch it to chinese.
