Yes,
I need from DOS.TPU only one procedure, but I'm not able to extract it. So, the compiler compile all DOS.TPU and it make my EXE code much more larger.
Are you able to talk online???

Hi ya out there !!

You do wrong with your compiler - theorie. The compiler and the linke or Borland Pascal Professional 7 (Turbo 6/7 too) are "intelligent". That means the compiler first check which routines are required from wich unit. As next the compiler tells that information to the linker and it will link the needed procedures and function into your exe - file. So there are only routines in your exe that u really use. Another way to make the file size and its code shorter, is when you remove unused variables or compress variables using a record. There are some freeware exe-compressors like PkLite that compress your exe - file.
