c programming in linux

with the gcc compiler I do not see the header heder files
conio.h
dos.h
are there other header files on linux that take there place

For Linux you don't need these to header-Files, since the have only DOS-specific functions and declarations in it. Some functions od conio.h are declared in curses.h if you need them.
