poor man's make mirror drive?

I hope there's a utility  share ware or commercial that will
cause a mac to automatically save a file being worked on and
save it to two different drives at the same time. Or at least when the save command is invoked or the programs own
automatic backup initiates it saves to the second drive as well. I was thinking a backup program set to five minute intervals that was selective as to path and file for backup might do. Any comment on this? And any other ideas. I'm cheap.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Stuffit Expander has a "Watch Folder" that should be able to monitor changes. Place alias' of the files to backup on the second drive in the watch folder. Be sure to check the "stuff original instead of alias" preference.
