How can I make a custom control look like a vbx control
in appstudio in MVC++ 1.0. I don't want to implemet it in a
.vbx file, I want to link it statically.

If I understand your question correctly, the answer is you can't do it in MSVC++ 1.0.  You need at least V4.0 to do this.
