How can I make a toolbar like the IE style as I don't want to use the ActiveX control ??????

TCoolBar is a right solution for you! Of course I presume you use Delphi3. It really nice looking and you can take look at example application in /Delphi3/Demos/CoolStuf/
For Delphi2 there is a freeware package named ToolBar97 available
at http://members.aol.com/jordanr7
