text box and inactive html code

ok, first i need a text box, but not for a form or input. i just want to display it on a page with text inside. whats the html code for that? second, i want to put inactive html code inside the box. but when the page loads, will the html code still stay inactive?

Hey Crazy, this is relatively easy, first, you really do need to simulate a form entry, even though you won't be executing it.

Try this...

There is also another way you can target this text box via JaveScript, and have whatever image you want appear inside of it, this image can be pure text or a combination of both.  Want to know how? mark.g.franz@cpmx.saic.com
