Icons all messed up

Suddenly, all my icons turned into black squares with little blurs of color. Like a black square screen was placed over the icons. the norton recycle bin and the Outlook icons are the only ones uneffected. What happened and how can I restore them. The icons are messed up even in explorer windows.

Normally all you have to do is delete your 'shelliconCache'
file from your Windows directory.
Reboot amd 95 will create a new one, Or get tweakui
and it will do it for you.
THIS IS WHERE TO GET TWEAKUI

You've done it agian, smeebud! Worked like a charm. But why did this hapen? And should all the rebuilding that Tweakui can do be done at any regualr intervals?

I'm increasing the points anyway. You've been a consistent good help to me and I am very appreciative.

I can't tell you how it happens other than as we play around and 95 gets confused.

Tweakui, no, no regular intervals. just when something goes out of whack.
Lot of handy things there.

name is the directory in the windows directory
