I need to buy new computers for the network that runs on ethertalk with file share used extensively. The new computers will have OS 8 is file share included and ethertalk in this system or is only TCP/ip and Apple share useable. Can I Install ethertalk from 7.6 and file share too, if they aren't in the new OS. Or is their backward compatibility to apple share and whatever OS 8 uses for networking. We don't want to have to buy a bunch of software for the existing computers to make this work. Also, we want to use system 8 as much as possible especially on our new server.   Thanks

the easy answer: everything is included with os8 and 0s8's filesharing is completely compatible with system 7's. so there wont be any compatibility problems. and yes...all the software is there

the complex answer is somewhat similar to the easy answer but with alot of PC networking jargon thrown in...=)
