"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Lots of times linux comes with the X-windows browser arena. As to a dialup tool, try downloading ezppp dialer. Its very esay to setup.

try using mosaic. It is free and runs well. With regard to the arena suite dying on you - this is quite ram hungry and can cause leaks there. Use minicom under xterm or a chat script to dial up - the easiest and most efficient way.

Hope this helps,
