Thanks Alan! When I mentioned difficult questions, it was meant jokingly only. All of us are volunteers, the only compensation being the enjoyment of figuring the problems out long distance without the benefit of either seeing the machine or talking with the person using it. Most of us object to M$ charging $35 per incident.

Thanks. You guys do a hard but brilliant job in difficult circumstances.
I note you comments that I only ask difficult questions. I should advise you that I am a qualified electronics engineer so I believe I have some experience on which to draw when problem solving. Its just the software side that Im not too good at. I therefore manage to solve most of my problems myself even if it takes a longish time to do so.
