How do I go about avoiding getting the error message &quot;missing semicolon before statement&quot;. I get it when I use NN3 and I'm trying to call a function in another frame.<br />
For example, I call this function from frame &quot;B&quot; to fire a function in frame &quot;A&quot; onLoad=&quot;javascript:parent.<wbr />A.functioN<wbr />ame('B1',1<wbr />)&quot;&gt;<br />
but I get the: missing semicolon before statement<br />
javascript:parent.A.functi<wbr />onName('B1<wbr />',1)<br />
Once again everything works in NN4.<br />

How do I go about avoiding getting the error message "missing semicolon before statement". I get it when I use NN3 and I'm trying to call a function in another frame.
For example, I call this function from frame "B" to fire a function in frame "A" onLoad="javascript:parent.A.functioName('B1',1)">
but I get the: missing semicolon before statement
javascript:parent.A.functionName('B1',1)
Once again everything works in NN4.
