How to improve wordpad's functionality

MFC provides an simple wordpad in its examples,I want to improve its functionality to support more RTF control words, how can I do with it?

View of Wordpad is RichEditView. You can either replace this view with yours or create some enchanced richedit control and resize it to occupy entire view client area. You must handle WM_SIZE message to reposition it each time view is resized
