Hello,
I have asked this before but did not get a valid answer, so I try again, is it possible to show chineese fonts in Netscape? If so how to do it exactly? Can Netscape change fonts automatically when I browse european sites? I have tried this Tango program, it can do it, but I should like to do it in Nescape. If gold 3 can't do it, can communicator 4 then? Well, hope to hear from you, thank you Gudmund.

Just have a look at the PAQ of you problem, that's really not good: it is not enough that only install Chinese fonts in order to display Chinese characters.

You should install a Chinese enviroment on your Windows 3.x or Windows 95. Then, you can view any Chinese characters (GB or BIG5) in any browser IE or Navigator.

To download such a program, RichWin 97 for Internet, at:

As for the encoding option in Navigator, sometimes it does, sometimes it does not, depends on the character-set of HTML page.

Any question? Please let me know.
