Is it technologically possible to connect to the Internet
from a small boat in the vicinity of the Galapagos Islands?
If so, what are the minimum specs for the laptop and the
modem for display of graphics?

fjahoda...

Technologicly YES if these were made available:

1) Cellular Phone lines.
2) Notebook 166MMX (or better) (lower processor would still work
3) 32 Mg Ram (or better)
4) 2 Mg video card (or better)
5) Modem with Cellular connector, 33.6K (or better)
6) An ISP provider LOCAL, or you will pay LONG distance call to access your LOCAL ISP in your home town.

That's about it.

Of course your Notebook should be configured with all the Internet connection requirements from Win95
(Dialup adapter, DNS enties, etc...)

Hope this has helped
