The best way to find out more about .h files is actually to
look inside them.  They are usually located in the include directory.

When you look inside them....Check for the command stuff...like say in stdio.h
find for printf and scanf and such....and these are the commands associated with the header file u can use in your C program if u include them.....How they work? well..thats another story...

Most probably you could get them in books and such...
Maybe the Yahoo directory could find useful in the Internet.
