Hmm let me get this straight. 3dfx is a brand name right? And voodoo is the chipset they make right?

There is no much to tell, just that this is much more powerful
chipset. Creative already released their Creative Voodoo 2 with
12 MB. Guys from 3dfx claim that their primary goal is maximum
speed in games (and they prove it). You can check this page:
