Two years ago I backed up my computer at work with PC-Tools (DOs).
I have about fifty diskettes with backup files.
Now I would like to restore some of these files on my computer, but I do not have PC Tools any more.
How can I find an old version of PcTools, or is there another way to restore these files in Winn 95.

Go to http://www.dejanews.com/home_ps.shtml
and search PC Tools.
--------
I just found this,
-------
I've just purchased a new complete version of Version 3.0 of Norton
Utilities and have for sale 2 earlier versions.

First (Version 1.0 Windows 95 Trade-Up Addition) is a competitive upgrade
which works if you have any of the following installed on your PC:

Norton Utilities, 6.x - 8.x
Norton Desktop for Windows, 2.x -3.x
PC Tools Windows 1.x - 2.x
PC Tools DOS 8.x
PC Tools Pro
More PC Tools
Norton Desktop for DOS, 1.x
Norton Utilities Preview for the Windows 95 Preview Program

Software searches system to determine trade-up eligibility.

The second (Version 2.0) is a competitive upgrade which  works if you have
any of the following installed on your PC:

Norton Utilities 1.0 for Windows 95 (Above Version)
Norton Utilities 6.x - 8.x
Norton Desktop for Windows, 2.x -3.x
PC Tools Windows 1.x - 2.x
PC Tools DOS 8.x
PC Tools Pro
More PC Tools
First Aid
First Aid Deluxe

Software searches system to determine trade-up eligibility.

Will sell Version 1.0 for $15 and Version 2.0 for $25.   Will accept $35 for
both.  Purchaser pays shipping or picks up.

That was just the 1st I came accross. If you're familiar with the newgroups there are many "forsale" groups.

Go to http://www.ozemail.com.au/~ksolway/  and get
SOLWAY'S INTERNET SEARCH

This will let you do what they call a power search of all newsgroups.
