"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

You can use JDBC with any JDK 1.02 or better browser (MS IE3.0+ in your case). The thing to wath out for is that you download the appropiate JDBC version for the browser you are using (1.02 for MSIE3.x or JDK 1.2 for MSIE 4).

In order to use JDBC, you need to either add the directory you installed it on to your CLASSPATH, or install it on a directory that is included in your CLASSPATH.
