Most sites run NNTP-servers for *ONLY* their customers,
not for the "public-at-large".

However, use some WWW search-engine,
and search on the string:

    "open NNTP servers"

i.e., each word adjacent to the next,
and you'll find that some web-pages
exist to document such "open" news-servers.
