Created my pages in Office 97 web authoring and imported files into FP 98 and published them at ctaz.com/n7ei/~. Now pages work great in Netscape and sometimes work great, but not always in ie4.0 Appears that I first test with Netscape and then with ie4.0 they work fine but not in the reverse.  Are the browsers interacting somehow to produce different results? Problem is that portions of the pages are blanked out and the graphics completely shattered in ie4.0 on an intermittant basis. This is my first attempt at web pages so any help would be appreciated.

Sorry about the error address is ctaz.com/~n7ei  Got problem solved. Apparently some of the META's caused problems with ie4.0 and aaat the suggestion I removed the "offenders" and have since added new META's I would like to receive you suggestions on the site which will be under continuous revision over the next two months. Question if I remove a page from FP what happens to what is left on the server. Do the files just keep piling up? Do I owe you some points?

If you remove a page from FP (on your local HD), it may or may not be left on the server, depending on whether your server has FrontPage extensions installed.  The easiest way to determine this is to create a temporary page in FrontPage, upload it, and then delete it (w/FP).  After this, you will need to upload your changes.  Now go out to your actual web site and see if the page still exists.

If it is gone, then FP is working as it should.  If it is still there, then you will have to manually delete the files from your server.  I can show you how to delete files if you want.

Right now I don't think you owe any points, but you can give me points if you want me to show you how to delete the files, etc.

Thanks have given you all the points I have left. My server does not have and doesn't plan to get fp extensions installed so I am going to change servers next month. Meantime I am going to start writing all the new fancy stuff so when I switch over I will be able to see the results.  Thanks again for all the great help. I have a 900 page book on FP and it does not cover at all what you just pointed out.

The easiest way to manually delete your files is with an FTP program such as WS_FTP.  It is available from most major FTP sites.  More info can be found at
