I asked a question concerning a problem with my home page switching upon opening to a temp file then opening to ICQ.  I thought it was fixed by deleting the entire Windows temp file, I was wrong.  Upon bringing up netscape again, the problem is back.  I have checked my netscape settings and it shows it correct url for my home page.  What else can I check?

The home page is posted under preferences for Navigator as home page: http://my.excite.com/?uid=E10C5509330C5F95.  My local server is westal.net.  I have never had a problem with the home page being switched during opening before.

I believe you have your ICQ set to open the browser the moment
it detects that you are connected to the Internet.
That could be the problem.
Have it set to NOT opening your browser.
cos the moment it open your browser it will have its own settings
to load a different home page.
