We connect to the internet via a proxy server. Using the classes CInternetSession and CFtpConnection, only allows you to log onto the proxy server. Is there a way (without resorting to sockets programming)to use the above two classes to first log onto a proxy server and then onto a ftp server?

After you connect to the Internet, you should be able to connect to your ftp server via the proxy server using something like:

  hConnect = InternetConnect(hSession, "proxy", 0,
    "name@ftp.server.com", "password", INTERNET_SERVICE_FTP,
    Flags, Context);
