Hi, About 70% of the time, I am unable to save any images in either MSIE 4 or the Outlook Express Newsreader. When I attempt to do so (using the right-click method) I get a small message box that says "Could not complete the operation due to error 8007fff". I also get the same message when trying to save attachments in email. Thank you in advance for any suggestions you may have.

You will have to deinstall the whole MSIE4/Outlook Express suite, then reinstall it. Then, apply all patches supplied by Microsoft to ther new install and it will work.
This is a confirmed Microsoft problem and MS states that this is the only way around.
Note: When deinstalling, don't answer yes to the 'remove personal settings' dialog boxes and you won't even be able to tell that you reinstalled.
