I've created a form that uses buttons to execute a CGI script.  My question: on some browsers, the buttons appear "larger" than on some other browsers where the buttons are sized according to the button label.  See http://www.fahc.org/address2.htm

The problem most likely comes from your page not specifically identifying a font and font size.  If you don't specifiy a font and font size then the user's default font and font size will go into effect.  Hence, the button size changes.  This is really evident when you use spaces to increase the width of the button.  For example:  spaces of a courier font are much larger than spaces of an arial font.
