can anyone recommend a benchmark utility for windows 95 that would tell you the frame rate for games running in 3d mode? Eg monster truck madness and quake 2.

What I was looking for was something where you could run a game (eg quake 2) and there would be  a program that would tell you what frame rate the game was running at.  Thanks.

You can't run a benchmark or TSR benchmark capture while these games are running. If your using Monster Truck Madness as a benchmarking tool, as we do, you extrapolate from the run time in continous loop. To do as you suggest to impede the performance.
