When I try to send a form to my e-mail address I get the following error in the front page log file:
 'Cannot connect to SMTP host'xx.xx.xx.xx'
Is this simply because the (SMTP) IP address is wrong or something else? I have server extensions, so I don't know what's going on.

your form would have to go thru' a certain email gateway, which is the SMTP.

It could have been down if not, check that you specified the correct one.

I have specified the correct address of the SMTP host, and I am now at a loss. Has anyone encountered such a problem before? Could it be that the SMTP server itself has not been configured to receive email via forms?
