TAPI Software for DELPHI
Hi All.
We are trying to automate our password generation software so people can ring in with a phone, the PC answers and requests their personal ID number, product ID number and from that returns an unlocking code.
Does anyone know of any component which can do this/aid in doing this? We purchased Visual Voice Pro 4.0, but after hours of stuffing around with it, couldnt get it to work properly with Delphi (3.01).
I don't mind if its Shareware/Freeware/Commerc

I'll let you know once I have tried to get both these products going. At the moment, it seems as if Visual Voice is a real disappointment. I think it is really aimed at VB only.

I had a look at the component and it does not do what I require. I don't know if I was vague in the question or not, but I actually want the program to be able to speak to the customers. I don't want a terminal style program. I thought mentioning Visual Voice would have been information enough as to the requirements of the component.

I use Asynch Pro fro Delphi from TurboPower Software http://www.turbopower.com Since version 2.5x they have added TAPI voice support which sounds like it is what you are looking for.
I'm interested in this one too. For D1 & D2, D3? If you know something, can you let me now?
