I was wondering what are some good webserver packages for Macs' (for a decent size webserver, but not huge). Also, are there any free mac webservers that can be downloaded off of the internet.

WebStar is by far the best and ive heard great things about WebTen (www.tenon.com). As far as a free industrial size web server...good luck. there is a small web server that comes with os8...personal web sharing....but its far from industrial.
