WordPerfect 8: Keep figures separate

Hopefully someone know WP v8

I would like to have each figure that I insert into a document on a page
by itself.  I would like the text that ends at that page to continue
with no gaps on the page following the page with the figure.  I can do
this by inserting a new page for the figure, but if I make a change
somewhere previous in the document, things change.  Either I end up with
a couple of lines on one page when the previous text runs past the page
break, or I end up with a gap at the bottom of the page before the
figure.

Is there an automatic way to get this out so that the text
adjusts around the figure?  I have the figures set for figure style with
wrap on neither side.

What you will have to do is to change the properties of the image box and its borders to fit an entire page and keep the figure style wrap on neither side. You can try to put conditional page breaks at the beginning and at the end of the figure, but this will still give you the problem of sporadic lines as you mentioned in your question.
