Why does my cursor freeze up for ten seconds whenever I accidentally touch Command-Space Bar?  It happens to both MacOS8.1 and System 7.5.5.  How can I fix it from happening?

My current setup is:
PM9500/ 150/ 80MbRAM/ 1Gb, MacOS8.1, GV56k modem, some shareware extensions, LocalTalk networked.

BTW,
I remember actually using Command-SpaceBar in an application.  I think it was toggle back to pointer tool from any other tool in Adobe Pagemaker.  This worked when i first got my PM9500 and installed Pagemaker, but then something happened shortly thereafter, and it's now causing this ten-second freeze in every app.  I have installed many many many apps, utilities, and system upgrades since then.

Could there be an extension conflict?  This is a rather minor nuisance, so how can i quickly pinpoint which extension, if it is an extension?

Hi
I have had this problem before and I think you may find this is the default keyboard shortcut in SCSI probe.
This can be changed to another key combination or disabled.
Change this in the Options dialog in SCSI Probe.
(Note you should find SCSI Probe in the Control Panels)

Thanks!  Yes, you are right.  I'd almost forgotten about that little thang.
