Now Contact won't run

I have purchased 2 copies of Now Contact, one for my Performa and one for my PowerBook.  The Performa copy is version 3.6.5, the PowerBook has 3.6.  I also use Now Synchronize to connect with my PalmPilot.  After synchronizing the to Macs, Now Contact will not run on my PowerBook.  It gives me a message that I have not purchased enough copies of Now Contact.  How do I fix this?  Is there a way I can delete the registration into and then re-enter it?

Go to the "hard drive", "system" folder and "preferences", find the preferences associated with the program you are using and trash them and empty the trash holding "options" key down to force trash the preferences. This will reset the program's settings.
