Bring Window to Front

I am using a small window to control another window, I can force a change of page into the main window but I then need to bring this to the front is this possible.

I think that it is something to do with focus but I cannot get this to work.

I answered this in the other message...

msg = window.open(...........)
if (msg.focus) msg.focus();

alternatively put
if (self.focus) self.focus();
else alert('FOCUS!');
in any script in the html you load in the new window
The alert is for MSIE 3.x
