Flowchart components or examples

I have been looking for some components or code examples which will help me develop an application with flowcharting capabilities.  The only thing I have found that comes close is an ActiveX control from ProtoView but this costs way to much and is not royalty free.

Does any one know of any other components or where I might be able to find some examples on doing this.

Your help is greatly appreciated.

for a complete source of a flowchart component basics. The components are extendable, an example how to use them and an extension is also included.
